The Micro Sand Blaster was initially developed in the 1940s by Dr. Robert Black, specifically for dental cavity preparation, where the application was called air abrasion.

Ernest Swan, the founder of Crystal Mark, Inc., developed industrial applications using this unique technology and formed the company in 1967. Today, the company is owned and operated by his three sons, and also two of his grandsons.

Crystal Mark, Inc. continues to lead the way with new and innovative applications in Micro Abrasive Blasting technology.
